A Spring-like winter makes for some interesting combinations. I’ve been feeling pretty blessed to be able to don a leather jacket in Toronto in January and February, and a good wool circle scarf can beat any remnants of cold that seep through an outfit. As a transitional piece, I decided to make use of this thrifted floral chiffon jacket I got the other day and layer it under the leather jacket to add some colour to it. Basically, to make it look less boring. February weather can be pretty drab.

So those shoes I’ve been dreaming about, the Jeffrey Campbell 99 Tie, finally went back in stock in the colour and size I wanted right after Christmas. Great timing, huh? It’s the last big spending I’m doing this year, especially after Christmas gift shopping and the brokeness that ensues afterwards. Happy New Year to me!

Finally took my vintage Timberland hiker boots out for a walk today, and I wasn’t disappointed.
